I hope everyone is ready for something different, I know I am. What gives? Well, it’s been a while since you’ve heard from me. It’s all due to life and all the wonderful experiences and challenges that comes with it. For the past couple of years, I have been thinking about all of you. I would come back to my site to see if I had any comments to follow-up on and to my surprise I had quite a few to read. I am so grateful for all of you, I believe I am in a place where I can now try to attempt balancing out the things I have to do and the things I want to do. Everyday and any day is as good as any to jump in and get started on my craft. I have many hats to fill on a regular basis. However, the hat that fills my soul is the one that I have been ignoring. I sometimes think that there has to be a right time for everything. Almost, like everything has to be perfect before I can jump into something without looking back. I am here to tell you that while we have good moments and bad ones, the perfect time will always be right now, in this very moment. Just get started and leave the rest to moments and time.
There is a lot to do, all the time but how does one make time for all the things one wants to carry out? Some of you may think that it is easy, while others may have difficult time with this concept. Truth is, everything does not have to get done right away. It just has to get started right away, whether it is planting the seed or in my case typing one word. Believe me, some time ago, I thought I could “build Rome in one day.” As it so happens, I was wrong. It’s taken me a while to build this website on my own, the way I want it. But I am finally here, now it’s crunch time because I know you all will be expecting some interesting content. Hello world, (smile) this is my first post and I am inviting you all to subscribe to my website, so you can get monthly updates. There is so much to share with you, since my sporadic long-term sabbatical. I urge you all to engage in the comments area, share this site with your friends and follow me on all my social media. Also, visit my THRC SoundCloud Podcast.
What didn’t Happen (rhetorical)
Everything happened, that’s for sure. Life just continues to happen as fast as the speed of light. I was networking offline for two years, I was working with photographer Dennis Hines as Photoshop technician covering car shows in the spring and summertime. I continued my freelance gig with LatinTrends Magazine in NYC, that was fun. Check out my articles and columns on the Publications tab on the Home page. Somehow, I ended up in Wall Street, if you can believe that, “doing what”? I have no idea, but I will tell you that there’s an entire story about that in the archives check it out.
Now here we are, my website is complete and all my social media accounts are up to date. I will be delivering content via online on this website, on My WordPress Blog and on My SoundCloud Podcast. I welcome all your comments, requests and suggestions and hope that somehow I will be of service to you. Thank you all for visiting The Hudson River Chronicles and please stay tuned.
